LOUD AS HELL Opens Band Submissions for 15th Anniversary Festival

LOUD AS HELL OPEN AIR FESTIVAL is looking for bands for its 15th edition, set for July 30-Aug. 1, 2027, in Drumheller, Alberta.

Band submissions are open now and will remain open through Oct. 31, giving emerging and established heavy acts an opportunity to join the lineup for the three-day Canadian metal festival.

Held amid Alberta’s Badlands, LOUD AS HELL has developed from a small gathering launched in 2012 into one of Western Canada’s established underground metal festivals. The event combines three days of heavy music with camping, vendors, clinics, freak shows and burlesque performances in a setting better known for dinosaurs than blast beats.

The 2026 edition featured FALLUJAH, ALLEGAEON, SUMMONING THE LICH, GRAVEMASS, CRIMSON SHADOWS, STARKILL, SUPER MONSTER PARTY, MOURNING HIGH and EDGE OF PARADISE, among others.

Previous editions have brought REVOCATION, FIRST FRAGMENT, BEYOND CREATION, STRIKER, GREEN JELLŸ, THE CONVALESCENCE, JUNGLE ROT, NARCOTIC WASTELAND, INTO ETERNITY, GOATWHORE, FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY, ARCHSPIRE, UNLEASH THE ARCHERS, PROTEST THE HERO and ANGELMAKER to Drumheller.
