KORN Returns With DIABLO IV Track

BAKERSFIELD, CA — Nu-metal band KORN has released "Reward the Scars," a new standalone single recorded in partnership with Blizzard Entertainment for the video game expansion "Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred."

The track marks the band's first new studio recording since the release of the 2022 album "Requiem."

The single features the band's signature low-end bass work, rhythmic guitar patterns and varied vocal performances by frontman Jonathan Davis. Korn collaborated on the track with producer Nick Raskulinecz and mixing engineer Chris Lord-Alge.
Director Tim Saccenti helmed the accompanying music video, which combines performance footage with gothic animations matching the visual style of the video game franchise. In a statement, Blizzard Entertainment noted that the track explores themes of pain, survival and transformation that align with the game's dark setting.

The surprise release coincides with the band's return to touring, following a co-headlining performance with System of a Down at the Sick New World festival in Las Vegas, where the new song made its live debut. Korn recently completed a spring tour of Latin America with the band Spiritbox.

The group will launch a headlining arena tour of the United Kingdom and Europe this fall, featuring support from Architects, Youth Code and Pixel Grip. The tour begins Oct. 18 in Stuttgart, Germany, and includes stops at London’s O2 Arena and Paris’s Accor Arena through late November.
