Corrosion of Conformity drops their raw, concrete-heavy new music video for "Baad Man," the towering title track of the second half of their massive double album *Good God / Baad Man* released via Nuclear Blast on Monday, July 6.

Following the atmospheric, dark visual journeys of their previous singles "You Or Me" and "Asleep On The Killing Floor," the "Baad Man" clip doubles down on the band's gritty, southern-sludge identity. Captured once again by longtime visual collaborator Mike Holderbeast, the production effortlessly pairs blistering performance footage with surreal, cinematic storytelling.

The video is preceded by viral teaser clips featuring founding guitarist Woodroe "Woody" Weatherman wandering aimlessly through a local convenience store draped in a weathered blanket, looking deeply bewildered as he inspects a wall of toy cap guns. This bizarre, gritty narrative thread weaves perfectly through the live performance, showcasing the sheer kinetic energy of the band's current line-up as Pepper Keenan, Woody, newly minted bassist Bobby "Rock" Landgraf, and powerhouse touring drummer Nick Shabatura lock into a punishingly heavy groove.

Heavy Roots In Deep Places

The sonic aesthetic of "Baad Man" reflects the incredible lineage of the album's production history. Helmed by Grammy Award-winning producer Warren Riker—celebrated for his landmark work with Down, Cathedral, and the Fugees—the track moves with a thick, vintage weight.

The sprawling double album was tracked across a trio of distinct legendary environments, spanning Blak Shak Studios in Mississippi, Dockside Studios in Maurice, Louisiana, and even the Miami home studio of Bee Gees icon Barry Gibb. The result is a monolithic sonic landscape that frontman Pepper Keenan describes as a natural split in the band's creative output.

“We had such a crazy plethora of songs, it was almost like two different directions," Keenan noted regarding the development of the double record. "We knew we had to split it into two different albums, and then we came up with this concept."
