The first half of CORROSION OF CONFORMITY's current North American headlining tour has reinforced what fans have known for decades: few bands command a stage with the power, groove and authority of C.O.C.

Fresh off the release of Good God / Baad Man, the North Carolina heavyweights returned to U.S. stages earlier this month with support from WHORES. and CROBOT. The tour kicked off at Houston's Scout Bar before heading across Texas and the West Coast, marking the second North American leg in support of the acclaimed double album.

If opening night in Houston was any indication, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY is operating at full strength.

A packed Scout Bar crowd witnessed a blistering set that balanced longtime fan favorites with standout material from Good God / Baad Man. Pepper Keenan's unmistakable vocals remain as commanding as ever, Woody Weatherman continues to deliver one crushing riff after another, Bobby Landgraf has firmly established himself within the lineup, and the rhythm section drives every song with thunderous precision.

One of the evening's defining moments came with a devastating performance of the new single, "Baad Man." Already emerging as one of the highlights of the tour, the song's massive groove translated effortlessly to the live setting and drew one of the night's strongest reactions.

As the tour has pushed west, fan response has remained overwhelmingly enthusiastic, with audiences embracing both the band's legendary catalog and its latest material. More than four decades into its career, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY continues to prove it remains one of heavy music's most formidable live acts, seamlessly blending Southern groove, hardcore aggression and Sabbath-sized heaviness into a performance few bands can match.

The North American run continues through July before the band heads to Europe for a series of festival appearances, culminating with a return to the United States this fall for AFTERSHOCK.
