CORROSION OF CONFORMITY Added to Port City Blitz 2026

CORROSION OF CONFORMITY is coming home to North Carolina for Port City Blitz 2026, with the Raleigh heavy music legends announced as the festival’s Nov. 7 headliner at Waterline Brewing in Wilmington.
The addition drops C.O.C. into a festival weekend built around heavy music, punk culture and the kind of independent atmosphere that fits the band particularly well. Port City Blitz is advertising multiple stages, more than 50 acts, its PCB Punk Flea, food trucks and craft beer at Waterline Brewing, with the festival running Nov. 6-8. The event is all ages.
The Wilmington appearance also falls directly into a newly announced November tour for CORROSION OF CONFORMITY, making Port City Blitz more than an isolated festival date. C.O.C. will hit the road beginning Nov. 2 for a U.S. run with THE SWORD and HIPPIE DEATH CULT, but Wilmington is specifically listed as a C.O.C.-only appearance on the tour routing. The band plays Virginia Beach the night before Port City Blitz and heads to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the following night.
That gives North Carolina fans a chance to catch the band in a considerably different environment from the standard theater or club package — and in C.O.C.’s home state.
The appearance comes during a massive year for the band. CORROSION OF CONFORMITY released the 14-track double album Good God / Baad Man on April 3 through Nuclear Blast, its first studio album since 2018’s No Cross No Crown. Produced by Grammy-winning producer Warren Riker, the record stretches across the various strains of punk, metal, Southern heaviness and riff-driven rock that have accumulated during more than four decades of C.O.C.
The current lineup features Pepper Keenan on vocals and guitar, Woody Weatherman on guitar, Bobby Landgraf on bass and Stanton Moore on drums.
Port City Blitz takes place at Waterline Brewing, 721 Surry St., Wilmington, North Carolina, with CORROSION OF CONFORMITY headlining Saturday, Nov. 7. Tickets and additional festival information are available through Port City Blitz.
