BOSCO SACRO Blends Doom, Dreamgaze and Trip-Hop on New Album Inhabit

Italian quartet BOSCO SACRO will release its second studio album, Inhabit, Nov. 6 through Supernatural Cat Records, the label operated by members of UFOMAMMUT and the Malleus Rock Art Collective.
The eight-track record represents a significant evolution from the band's 2023 debut, Gem, moving between the weight of doom and slowcore and the atmospheric terrain of dreamgaze, ambient music and trip-hop.
Rather than constructing the material piece by piece in the studio, BOSCO SACRO developed Inhabit collectively through live performance in its rehearsal space. The band then recorded the album during a seven-day session with producer Lorenzo Stecconi, whose credits include AMENRA, ZU, UFOMAMMUT and LENTO.
The approach gives Inhabit an interconnected structure, with its eight compositions conceived as parts of a larger meditation on dissolution, rebirth and the relationship between physical and metaphysical experience.
BOSCO SACRO was formed in 2020 by guitarist Paolo Monti, vocalist Giulia Parin Zecchin, guitarist Francesco Vara and drummer Luca Scotti. Its music is rooted in the members' shared interest in nature, landscape and the idea of music as a restorative and liberating force.
Since forming, the band has taken that approach across Italy and Europe, including appearances at Brutal Assault, A Colossal Weekend, Frantic Fest, Curtarock and Bear Stone.
BOSCO SACRO followed Gem with 2025's Live At Chiesa Armena, which captured a performance inside a 17th-century church following an artistic residency at Villa Albrizzi Marini.
For Inhabit, the band recorded with Stecconi at Daniele Onori's AMM, Monteggiori Studio in the Tuscan hills. Stecconi subsequently mixed and mastered the album at Triple Sun in Rome.
The physical presentation extends the record's concept. Its cover features Testa di Terra (Head of Earth), a raw-clay sculpture by Italian artist Roberta Busato depicting a face with closed eyes in a meditative state.
A limited edition takes the concept further through a series of irregular, concentrically die-cut inserts that can be rotated into different configurations, making the appearance of individual copies slightly different while gradually revealing the record itself beneath the layers.
