VOIVOD Announces DICKENS Headlining Show with MACABRE

CALGARY  — Canadian progressive sci-fi metal pioneers VOIVOD will headline a performance at Dickens on Thursday, Sept. 3.

The heavy music billing features a co-starring performance from long-running death-metal innovators MACABRE, alongside support sets from SPIRIT and SONS OF ARRAKIS.

The concert arrives as VOIVOD continues to build momentum around the band’s latest Century Media Records release “Symphonique,” bringing their signature technical thrash sound back to the stage. With both VOIVOD and MACABRE boasting histories that stretch back to the 1980s underground, the performance stands as a highly anticipated event tailored specifically for longtime fans and metal old-heads.
